eXtra Whistleblowing Policy
United Electronics Company (eXtra) is guided by its core values, which influence actions at individual, team, and corporate levels. This policy aims to reinforce ethical values, principles, team dynamics, and organizational culture, enhancing operations and activities.
The objective of this policy is to ensure that all concerned individuals have the confidence and assurance to raise any matters of genuine significance without fear of reprisal from authorities or later retaliation.
This policy applies to all individuals working within the company, as well as customers, consultants, suppliers, and trainees.
The company encourages reporting any wrongdoing in the right manner, without fear, and at an early stage. Wrongdoing includes any criminal or financial violations, breach of legal or legislative obligations, internal regulatory requirements, or those that pose a risk to the company's reputation, cause financial loss, or jeopardize investment opportunities. The violations that require reporting include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Unlawful conduct, including bribery or corruption.
- Financial misconduct, such as false expense claims, misuse of assets, or manipulation of accounting data.
- Obtaining undue benefits or rewards from an external party to grant that party unjustified preferential treatment.
The company is committed to conducting thorough, fair, and prompt investigations into reports wherever circumstances allow. After a formal submission of a report, all reports will be treated confidentially, and the identity of the reporter will not be disclosed, except in rare cases that require external investigation by relevant government authorities.
